Taking a Stroll With Maria. . . Would It Be Like This?

Oh, Maria, I’m smitten again for you. . .
I see your pictures again. . . and I feel this unbearable urge to wish I could look into your beautiful glimmering eyes. . . like two of the world’s most precious emeralds
And a glimpse of your hair brings tears of awe to my eyes almost. . . why is it so perfect, and so radiant? It really looks like strands of pure gold, but as soft as the finest silks. Toku is so lucky he can run his hands through it everyday. . .

I wish I could change last Spring. . . I would do things differently. . .
Maybe if I had done things right, we would be together taking a stroll that April through one of Japan’s scenic forests. . .

Where the trees’ leaves sing a melody when the wind blows, and they flow beautifully with the wind in sync together. . . The sight would be so beautiful, like watching a river of pink, green, and gold cream flowing through the trees as we walk by, hand-in-hand. . .

And maybe you would hum sweetly and smile. . . and I’m not sure I’d be able to resist dying from your sweet, sweet voice, like if honey’s taste could be a sound – that’s one way to describe it! And this is only Maria’s casual humming.

Thank goodness you wouldn’t be using the full glory of your voice – because then I surely would have to stop walking, my knees would become weak, and I would need to hang on to you for support </3. . . Because when Maria sings with her best, it sounds like pure ecstasy – like if heaven were real and if the universe held an orchestra – that is the sound of Maria’s voice when she gives it her all

Oh such a lovely afternoon with you. . .
And then the trees would part to reveal a majestic cliff
And we’d lay a blanket and have our picnic while looking over the vista of clear blue lakes and beautiful mountains and lush trees. . .
I would say something dumb, like, “Maria, this view is beautiful, but you know, your smile is a thousand times more beautiful.”

I think that April, it was nice and warm. . .
So maybe after eating our picnic, we’d wrap ourselves in the blanket and fall asleep in each other’s arms as the warm weather and the good food lulls us to sleep

And we’d wake up to a breathtaking sunset over that cliff. . .
Haha, but before we can enjoy the starry sky, your staff will have sent a few cars and personal escorts to take you back to your busy schedule </3

It’s fine though, I know I can’t be in your world, so I’ll stay at our cliff and come up with a new poem that I’ll attach with a picture of the starry sky and text it to you 🙂
