We battled valiantly again, with renewed hope that solely came from our kingdom’s sweet princess – the battle outcome didn’t change, everything still looked bleak…
But defying logic and reason, our willpower was steeled by Princess Meiria’s warmth
And there she was – standing calmly in the center of our thin protection, in the midst of a downhill battle that would scare the strongest of men
There were seemingly innumerable Liscite enemies attacking our shoddy circle of soldiers – they could break through at any time – but she wasn’t frightened, she didn’t even feel rushed!
She casted her Aria with certainty, like she was so sure we’d be victorious
She sang so sweetly, but with such passion – it was unbelievable
She was singing like she was giving one of her concerts, like she wasn’t in a life or death situation at all!
Excuse me for sounding a little chauvinist, but I looked upon her courageous visage, and felt like I wasn’t even a man
Here I was, well-trained for battle with years of experience. After all I’ve been through, I shouldn’t be capable of fear, especially not in the course of my duties as a member of the Elite Forces – or even, just as a soldier, in general…
But here I had been, trembling down to my knees, fearing looming death!
But there she was, a young, sweet girl with more courage in battle than me!
